Parks Associates president Stuart Sikes will be moderating two panels at this year's Digital Home World Summit in Berlin: "Using the Emergence of New Services in the Digital Home for Creative Business Models,” June 3, 4:40 PM, and "Developing the Value Proposition for the End Consumer," June 4, 10:10 AM.

Recent Parks Associates research finds that 43% of U.S. broadband households are willing to purchase a smart home package, which would leverage the Internet of Things for safety, security, or home management applications. The firm's European research also finds that consumers in France, Germany, the U.K., and Belgium value smart safety/security devices highest, including smoke and motion detectors. The details of this research will be discussed in depth throughout the summit, which focuses on key strategies for connected home services, including the Internet of Things in Europe and across the globe.
