This week, PlumChoice, an innovator in the remote technical support industry, announced plans to open a new training facility in Broomfield, CO. The new facility will provide an expanded support team for PlumChoice's numerous clients, allowing the company to accommodate as many as 70 additional tech support agents this year.

Parks Associates' 1Q 2014 report estimates that 37% of small businesses are highly interested in support services that automatically fix problems before they occur, and 31% are highly interested in services that routinely tune-up their devices and make sure their devices are working optimally. Demand for technical support is continuing to increase, in part due to technical security flaws like the Heartbleed bug, and PlumChoice's subscriber base has grown 48% since 2012. This allows the company to expand its office and increase its hiring—up to 10 new employees a month—in order to continue providing top-level support services and customer experiences.

Karen D. McPhillips, Vice President of Marketing at PlumChoice, will be speaking at this year's CONNECTIONS Conference, May 13-15. She is part of the session "Tech Support: Connected Home Strategies and Solutions" on Wednesday, May 14 at 8:45 AM. Other speakers on this panel include Support.com, Sutherland Global, RadialPoint, and iYogi.
