Parks Associates will be presenting consumer research and analysis on international trends in online video services in an upcoming webcast, "OTT Services: Moving from Sideline to Primetime." The webcast will take place March 27 at 1 p.m. CT (11 a.m. PT).
Parks Associates research finds that although more than 50% of U.S. broadband households now use paid OTT video services, millenials are more likely than other age groups to use these services on a regular basis. In fact, 37% of consumers ages 18-24 say online video is their most important video source, beating out other traditional delivery methods.
The role of OTT video and the future of traditional video services will be a key topic at the 2014 CONNECTIONS Conference, taking place May 13-15. Company representatives from major brands will be discussing and analyzing future strategies for service providers in the video content ecosystem, with keynotes by AT&T, Cisco, ARRIS, iControl Networks, and Lowe's.
