AT&T Digital Life: One Year Later

Parks Associates research shows that nearly 60% of U.S. households is interested in smart home technology, including home automation, security, and energy management. This figure is more than double the size of the current market, which is why major brands are quickly developing products to meet this interest.

AT&T is one of the first companies to branch into smart home technology. The company already provides bundled services for Internet, television, and phone service, and a new program, Digital Life, extends their reach into home automation and security. The service was launched just over a year ago and has since expanded into 63 markets.

AT&T Digital Life is currently available in two packages, basic and upgraded. Both packages provide consumers with holistic home security, and the upgraded package allows homeowners to monitor security via a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
