As the app ecosystem for smartphones and tablets continues to grow, one of the expanding markets for opportunity continues to be TV-related apps. Recent Parks Associates research shows that over 55% of smartphone owners and 61% of tablet owners use at TV app at least once a month. These statistics demonstrate the changing landscape of connected devices, where an increasing number of people are using multiple connected devices as multiscreen platforms for watching TV and movies and connecting to the web.
