NAGRA will be represented at the upcoming CONNECTIONS Conference by Paul Woidke, SVP Strategy, Advanced Advertising, on May 20 at 3:00 PM in the session “Monetization of Connected Devices: Apps and Advertising.”

SmarDTV, M7 Group, TV Vlaanderen, and TéléSAT have deployed the latest generation of Nagra’s conditional access modules (CAM) in its network in the Netherlands and Belgium.

SmarDTV’s SmarCAM-3.5 modules embed the latest generation of NAGRA’s conditional access system, providing the highest quality security for all channels of M7 Group. SmarCAM-3.5 modules ensure that the channels are directly accessible on integrated Digital Televisions (iDTVs) with the original TV remote control. SCART or HDMI cables or power leads are no longer needed. In addition, the channels are accessible on a large variety of set-top boxes sold in the retail market in the Netherlands and Belgium.
