Research: One in four European homes warming to Internet of Things
Smart home awareness is low among European consumers, and willingness to purchase smart home packages is not as strong in Europe as it is in the US. Parks Associates puts this down to a lack of awareness in those countries as to what's already out there.
What does the Google acquisition of Nest mean for DR?
While not much is known about Google’s EnergySense program, it is likely that Google is well along the path to becoming an energy aggregator. Nest’s technology combined with Google’s big data makes the resulting company a strong competitor.
