Albert Chiu is a Principal Product Manager in the Utility Partnership and Innovation Department at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E). In his 25+ years working in Load Management and Integrated Demand Side Management, he has developed technologies, system, policies and programs for utility customers. He is the lead of the DR Emerging Technology and IDSM Programs at PG&E, and also serves on the board of the OpenADR Alliance.

John is the Chief Executive Officer of Ayla Networks. He was previously responsible for Ayla’s sales organization and ecosystem partner relationships. Before that, he was Head of Sales at Mosaic, the leading provider of clean energy fintech solutions. He also held global sales leadership positions at ChargePoint (CHPT), the leader in electric vehicle charging solutions, as well as Pace PLC, where he was responsible for the Software and Services Sales organization acquired by ARRIS in 2016. John graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in Economics, and later from the Kelly Graduate School of Business at Indiana University, where he earned his MBA with a concentration in Finance. John began his career at the private banking firm Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., and then at Covad Communications, where he led the Customer Operations and Product teams for over six years. He lives in San Jose, California.

Dennis has over 20 years of leadership experience in Technology, Network and IoT related industries. Most recently he serves at Realpage as their SVP/GM Smart Building where he is responsible for the transformation and growth for the Smart Building business unit inclusive of the Whitesky, Stratis and Chirp brands. As GM he Holds full P&L responsibility across all facets of the business. Immediately prior to Realpage, Dennis served as President & General Manager as well as SVP Operations for Wyyerd Fiber. In this role, Dennis had purview over the P&L, Operations, development and 60% annualized revenue growth of Wyyerd’s business as an Internet Service Provider for single and multi-family residences in the Southwestern United states. Previously, Dennis served as Senior Vice President, Mountain Region for Zayo where he had responsibility for $320M in annualized revenue and associated operations across 11 states and Western Canada. He has also held leadership positions at two successful startups (Tendril/Uplight & Arrayent) in the IoT and Connected Devices space. Over the years he and has held numerous senior leadership positions at BtoB and BtoC companies such as McCaw Cellular, Nextlink Interactive, XO Communications, Level 3 Communications as well as a earlier stint at Zayo Group where he served as President, Zayo Managed Services. Dennis has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University as well as MBA and MA in “Development Economics” from Stanford University.

Gene LaNois is the Vice President of Product Marketing at Vivint, an NRG company. A smart home expert with extensive channel and multi-trade experience, he is focused on enabling Vivint to chase all consumer and partnership opportunities. He is responsible for overseeing the strategy and direction of Vivint product marketing and channel expansion. Prior to joining Vivint, Mr. LaNois served as a Director for Google’s Professional and Industry Partnerships, working with energy utilities, and professional trade Partnerships. He joined Nest during its startup phase as General Manager of the company's Professional Channel and has held executive and leadership roles with several home and energy leaders including Watsco and Honeywell. Originally starting as the owner and President of his own HVAC mechanical & indoor air quality company in Western Massachusetts until its acquisition by a Fortune 500 competitor. Today, Gene is considered a home-centric B2B expert, and is a pivotal part in Vivint’s ongoing integration into the NRG energy ecosystem while continuing to advance and establish partnerships with other top home product manufacturers, to home builders and more.

Hugh Owen is Senior Vice President of Marketing at Alarm.com (Nasdaq: ALRM), the leading platform for intelligently connected properties. He leads global marketing strategy spanning residential, multi-family, small business, and enterprise commercial markets. His team shapes Alarm.com’s brand and drives demand for its expansive suite of IoT solutions, which include security, video analytics, access control, energy management, and emerging capabilities that advance safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Prior to Alarm.com, Hugh served in multiple senior leadership roles at MicroStrategy, including Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, where he guided global go-to-market efforts for the company’s enterprise analytics platform and its groundbreaking Bitcoin initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held roles at HSBC and Kimberly-Clark in the United Kingdom. Hugh earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Business from the University of Bath, England.

Jon leads the Alliance Certification and Testing team across three continents with 25+ years of experience in testing, certification and homologation programs. During this time, he held roles as Technical Editor, Secretary, Vice-Chairperson and Chairperson within several Alliance technical Work Groups and Committees. Olivier Bernard is a technology executive with over 25 years of experience spanning marketing, strategy, and engineering, with a deep focus on IoT and M2M innovation since 2005. He currently serves as Principal IoT Specialist at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he leads the global go-to-market strategy for consumer IoT and Smart Home solutions. In this role, he helps global device makers, service providers, and partners leverage the power of AWS to build, scale, and differentiate connected experiences. Prior to AWS, Olivier was Director of High-Performance IoT at Arm, where he led business development and ecosystem growth across the IoT value chain in collaboration with OEMs, ODMs, and silicon partners. During his tenure at Arm, he also led the competitive strategy team, developing mitigation strategies against rival CPU architectures and shaping Arm’s positioning across key market segments, including Arm for data centers. Earlier, as Executive Vice President at Maestro Wireless, he founded and led the company’s U.S. subsidiary through its successful acquisition by Lantronix. Olivier has held leadership roles in multiple startups, including eRide, where he built the sales and marketing organization from the ground up, as well as technical and strategic roles at CEL (Renesas), Northrop Grumman, and California Amplifier. Recognized as an industry thought leader, he has authored numerous technical publications and frequently speaks at global IoT and Smart Home conferences. Olivier holds an Engineering degree from ESIEE (France), an MSEE from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.

Joshua Di Frances is currently the Vice President, and Head of Business Incubation & Venture Building for LG NOVA & LG Electronics where he works to build and launch new technology ventures across the areas of AI, cleantech and healthcare technology. Prior to LG, Josh has spent his career working across healthcare technology strategy and investing and civic tech within the federal government. Josh formerly led the White House Presidential Innovation Fellows Program and Co-Founded the U.S. Digital Corps within the federal government. He also held roles at CVS Health, MassGeneral Brigham and a biotech gene editing startup. Josh has an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Boston University, and has also pursued graduate coursework at Harvard University, Berkeley Law, and the National Venture Capital Association.

Hervé Muller manages Telecom Design’s business strategy in North America. He is tasked with the introduction of TD’s Smart Home IoT solutions in the US and Canada and with replicating their European market success. The initial focus of this strategy is as a B2B partner to large brands and bringing unique technology in RF jamming protection, fall detection and AgeTech. Prior to joining Telecom Design, Hervé had a successful career managing sales and operations for international organizations. He worked in airport technology for over 25 years where he is an expert in passenger processing technology including biometrics. He helped the world’s leading airports and airlines modernize their passenger experience. Born in France and established in the US for over 30 years, Hervé studied electrical engineering and business in France and the US. He has 4 children, he loves playing music, running, hiking and traveling.

Larry Rask is Arity's Chief Revenue Officer. Larry is responsible for all new business activities and meeting Arity revenue and growth goals, and the development of Arity's sales processes and methodologies. Larry brings almost 30 years of international product marketing, sales, and operations experience and has a track record of exceptional results in both early stage and mature businesses – with a focus on enterprise software and predictive analytics. He joins Arity after more than six years as Vice President of Sales for Information Builders where he led the enterprise sales and operations efforts for the US-western region. There he implemented new sales channels and initiatives that created a new sales ecosystem that enabled the US-western regional team's move from last place in production to number one for two consecutive years. Larry earned a bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Santa Clara where he was also a Division I basketball player. He lives with his family in Orange County, CA.
