Parks Associates today announced the launch of its new podcast, The Connected Consumer, with recent episodes focused on the company’s history, the new industry initiative Matter, and AI and personalized healthcare. The weekly podcast features Parks Associates’ latest data and market insights from the analyst team, along with industry leaders bringing new and innovative products to market. The podcast’s introduction comes at an optimal time, as new patterns of smart home adoption, video, music, and news consumption, and marketing for both consumers and businesses have emerged throughout the current COVID-19 health crisis.
The podcast features an inside look at the latest industry trends focused on the connected consumer, home automation and security, energy management, connected health and independent living, and digital content and video services.

“We are excited to launch The Connected Consumer podcast and feature new trends and market innovations that are relevant to our research areas,” said Mindi Sue Sternblitz-Rubenstein, Vice President, Marketing, Parks Associates. “Podcasts are so popular, and it’s exciting to have another way to learn from others and talk about technology trends.”
The Connected Consumer further expands the analyst firm’s reach to a wide audience of business leaders, stakeholders, and industry players in the consumer technology space looking to leverage data-driven market insights for strategic decision-making.
“Parks Associates has decades of industry expertise and tracking data, and the podcast format is ideal in connecting with our clients and sharing this unique perspective, including implications for this moment in the industry,” said Rosimely Ulpino, Marketing and Media Relations, Parks Associates. “Each episode brings a new voice to topics important to the growth and expansion of the connected home.”
“We're always looking for new ways to share the great smart home research knowledge we have and we love interacting with industry experts—podcasting is a great way to do both,” said Chris White, Senior Analyst, Parks Associates. “Considering nearly all broadband households own either a smartphone or laptop, and about half own smart speakers, we believe this medium can reach the industry players who need our information and will be engaged with our content.”
