The Digital Home World Summit 2012, the industry’s premier event focusing on the connected home and surrounding areas announced its best everspeaker line-up. The summit, which boasts over 50 world-class speakers from 21 countries, presents a truly global view of the digital home with more top-level speakers than any other event covering this topic.
Speakers include Parks Associates President, Stuart Sikes, who is chairing the afternoon sessions on June 19 starting at 2:20 PM.
Parks Associates EU Research Representative, Arthur Baanders, will present during Breakfast Briefing, "IP SERVICES and THE CLOUD" on June 20 from 8:15 AM - 9:00 AM. The session will cover topics including: How are IP home services introduced in Europe? Do they follow the U.S. strategy? Zigbee versus Z-wave in the US and is that the same in Europe? Which SP’s did start with pilots and what is the status of these initiatives? Can SP’s deliver these services at the same pricing levels as the SP’s in the US. Also confirmed to speak on the second day of the conference is Nicholas Sim, Head of Connected Home Research of BT with his presentation entitled The Impending Home Network Data Crunch.
