1). What products do you anticipate will have the most buzz at 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES)?
We believe it will be services that we can overlay on products we are offering that will create the buzz. These will be allow us to make homes safer, more efficient and easier to manage.
2). Is your company announcing any new products or services at CES?
Yes, we are starting to show how Lowe's are innovating and working to differentiate in the connected home market with the breadth of devices and services offered as part of simple, affordable and scalable bundles. In particular, we will be announcing new products and services for senior care, and new connected devices such as water heaters, garden irrigation control, pet doors, connected light bulbs, plant monitors, new door locks, blinds, etc
3). Why is CES an important event for your Company?
It demonstrates how Lowe's is embracing new technology in the traditional home improvement channels.
4). What do you believe is the biggest development in the connected home in the past year?
We are finally seeing products and services that will appeal to the mass consumer and we feel we are leading a the charge to take these mainstream and connect people’s entire homes, not just a handful of limited devices.
