Barbara’s background includes more than 10 years with technology service providers in the telecom and home security industries in marketing, strategy and insights, operations, and business development. She also worked for EDS, now HP Enterprise Services, in market intelligence and large-deal sales support.

Report: Game consoles most widely used video streaming devices in US
"What we find is that not every device has everything somebody wants," Parks Director of Research Barbara Kraus said in an interview with Ars. Kraus clarified that respondents were asked which device they used most. "You are going to continue using multiple devices until you have a platform that has everything you want on it," she said.
Google’s Chromecast Overtakes Apple TV in Video Streaming, Survey Says
A survey of 10,000 U.S. homes with a broadband Internet connection by research firm Parks Associates found that 10% purchased either a streaming media player or stick in the first 10 months of 2014. Roku led with 29% of sales, but Chromecast was second, grabbing 20% and supplanting the more expensive Apple TV with 17% of sales.
