Accedo has been appointed by MediaCorp to build and develop multiplatform applications and solutions for Toggle, its interactive service. MediaCorp is the leading media company, in Singapore, with a range of different platforms including: television, radio, newspapers, magazines, movies, digital, and out-of-home media. Toggle brings entertainment, news, and information across multiple devices.

Accedo will help MediaCorp extend Toggle, currently available online and Apple IOS devices, to Android’s tablets and phone, as well as to connected TVs by Samsung, LG and Panasonic. Toggle will use Accedo’s application development framework, XDK, a development toolkit for connected TV and game consoles, which enables cross platform development.

Michael Lantz, CEO & Founder, Accedo, will be speaking at the 2013 CONNECTIONS Europe Conference in the interactive panel session “Multiscreen Services and TV Anywhere,” on Tuesday, November 12. This panel analyzes the challenges and revenue potential in new video services, especially as the costs for content rights escalate and consumer demand changes. Parks Associates research has shown the use and preferences among young consumers for video are notably different than today's average consumers. Speakers explore the impact of these differences on the industry's approach to video services.
