Santeri Kangas Santeri Kangas, Chief Technology Officer, CUJO AI

Santeri has 26 years of experience in cybersecurity and cloud computing, and a commendable track record in building award-winning security software products for network operators. Kangas has worked to successfully set up, lead and optimize multinational cybersecurity organizations, including as a CTO at F-Secure, CTO of vulnerability research and management company Secunia, Chief Architect at Flexera, and as a CTO of Identity & Access Management Company Omada. 
Santeri led F-Secure Security Laboratories enabling it to become one of the leading Anti-Malware Laboratory in the world. He had a central role in building F-Secure’s global R&D organization. 
Santeri has led professional service organization and cloud production operations delivering personal cloud and internet security as a SaaS solution for over 220 operators including world’s largest tier-one operators such as AT&T, Orange, América Móvil, Telefónica, SingTel, and BT. 
Santeri leads the overall CUJO AI technology team including global development teams, technology operations, and ISP integrations.

Charlie Kindel has extensive and proven connected home experience, with a focus on creating world-class consumer and developer products, platform technologies, and partner ecosystems. Previously, Charlie spent five years at Amazon, where he created, led, and grew the Alexa Smart Home division. For over 20 years Charlie has led the connected home industry with innovative product development and thought-leadership, frequently presenting at events and trade shows including CES, CONNECTIONS, SXSW, CEDIA, AWS re:Invent, and the Smart Kitchen Summit. Prior to Amazon, Charlie founded two tech startups in the Seattle area and from 1990 to 2011 he helped create some of Microsoft's most loved consumer and developer products. He drove the creation of the application and game ecosystem for Windows Phone 7, as well as Premier Support, Internet Explorer, COM/ActiveX, Windows NT, Windows home networking, Windows Media Center, and Windows Home Server.

Thomas Rockmann is Vice President Consumer IoT and Co-Lead of the Group-wide smart home project. Thomas is responsible for all aspects of the Consumer IoT and Connected Home business. He has been instrumental in growing the business and delivering the Telekom smart home solution with international key partners across Europe. Thomas held various senior leadership roles within Deutsche Telekom Group. He served as Vice President of Business Portfolio Strategy T-Home where he built up an integrated product portfolio for the business. Before that, Thomas managed product innovation projects for consumer, business and wholesale customers as Vice President for the market leadership team. He was also in charge of the consumer segment strategy, planning and group IP migration program for all consumer and business customers in Germany. He built up the new category smart home for the German market, based on the open platform Qivicon. Prior to Deutsche Telekom, Thomas spent three years at Deutsche Bank AG in various IT development and quality management roles. Thomas holds a diploma in Geophysics from Münster University. He is an entrepreneurial leader with 20 years of experience in innovation, product development, strategy and new business development. Thomas has a deep understanding of the development of customer centric technology-enabled services to scale the business.

Patrice Slupowski is Vice-President Digital Innovation running the open-innovation corporate product marketing team of Orange, in charge of several projects around APIs, Internet of Things, mobile applications & mobile OS, personal data aggregation, privacy or emerging technologies (AI, VR). Patrice Slupowski is a marketing expert in IoT, social networks, connected TV, wellness & personal data and mobile multimedia services. Gil Adato Gil Adato, Vice President, Digital Health/IoT, Philips

Gil is an alumni of the University of Michigan (MBA), The Technion (BSc EE), and the 8200 Israeli Elite Intelligence Unit, with over 17 years of diverse experience in Business & Technology Innovation in high-tech & healthcare industries in Israel, the US, South Korea & the Netherlands, in both large corporates (Samsung, Philips) and Israeli startups.
As the Vice President and Head of New Business Development & Connected Value Propositions for Digital Health at Philips since 2015, Gil has been creating new business opportunities, business models (B2B2C, B2C), and partner ecosystems, targeting consumers & patients, and enabled inorganically via partnerships, investments & acquisitions, in areas of new technologies, services, and paths to scale. Gil initiated and has been leading strategic initiatives, e.g. Insurers (EU, US, APAC), Artificial Intelligence (various companies), Subscriptions (Zuora), Telehealth (American Well - strategic global partnership & Philips’ largest ever equity investment), and repositioning of businesses into need spaces via partner ecosystems (sleep ecosystem, etc.).
Previously at Samsung Strategy & Innovation Center (Seoul, Korea), Gil initiated, conceptualized, validated, and obtained C-level buy-in for a new IoT platform (ARTIK) and new business unit for Samsung Electronics, called Samsung IoT. Previously, at the Chairman's Office at Samsung (Seoul, Korea), Gil led a strategy team that advised Samsung Electronics’ C-level executives (Presidents, CEOs, CSOs, CTOs, etc.) on various business challenges and opportunities, enabled via partnerships, investments & acquisitions.

Cornel Ciocirlan Cornel Ciocirlan, CTO EMEA & VP Product Management, Commscope

Cornel joined ARRIS in 2000 and has been nominated CTO EMEA at ARRIS following the acquisition of Motorola Home by ARRIS. In this role he is responsible for the technology direction in EMEA regions with focus on the Transition to all IP, Connecting to the Cloud and End-To-End Multiscreen. Cornel previously worked as VP Sales Engineering EMEA, leading a team of highly skilled systems engineers who analyzed customer needs and provided solutions and consultancy for network design and configuration to service providers across EMEA.

Prior to joining ARRIS, between 1997 and 2000, Cornel was Technical Director at Romania Data Systems and in this role was responsible for the engineering and build up of the Romania Data Systems network, the largest Internet Service Provider in Romania. Cornel has studied Mathematics & Computer Science at Bucharest University in Romania.

Arsham Hatambeiki serves as Senior Vice President, Product & Technology at Universal Electronics Inc. (UEI), where he is responsible for developing and overseeing corporate technology and product development, including IoT category for the Smart Home market and strategic services such as nevo.ai virtual assistant platform, and QuickSet Cloud™ powering more than half a billion smart devices globally. 
Hatambeiki joined UEI in 2004 as a lead system architect for home connectivity, where he developed an ecosystem of premium home control products across connectivity frameworks.
In 2008, he became Director of Advanced Technology, responsible for innovation in advanced communication and technologies. During this time, Hatambeiki played a critical role developing numerous award winning products (including 2017 Technology & Engineering Achievement Emmy® Award for work on Contextual Voice Navigation Technologies) and involved in industry alliances shaping the future of smart home, and serves on the board of Internet Society – San Francisco Bay Area Chapter. 
Hatambeiki holds a Master of Science degree in Computer and Communications Engineering, and research background in areas of data communication networks and security, artificial intelligence and optimization algorithms.

Lainie Muller is a 15-year veteran of the technology industry and an emerging voice on Smart Solutions for Aging in Place and Connected Caregiving.

Lainie is Director of Wellness at Alarm.com, a publicly traded company (NASDAQ: ALRM)and the nation’s leading cloud-based platform for the smart home. The Wellness solution leverages Smart Home technology to support Aging in Place and independent living for older adults and those living with disabilities. Wellness, an integrated element of Alarm.com’s comprehensive ecosystem of home management technology, is currently in use in residential homes, senior living communities, schools and in remote caregiving programs funded by Medicare and Medicaid.  The product has received critical acclaim from The New York Times, Kiplingers, CNN, NPR and TechCrunch.

In 2010, Lainie joined BeClose, a privately funded start-up company, as the Director of Partnership Sales. In 2015, BeClose was “spun-in” to Alarm.com, an early-stage strategic investor of the company. The BeClose product is now available as Alarm.com Wellness.

Prior to BeClose, Lainie served as National Sales Manager, Major Accounts Unit (MAU) at Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive, the online subsidiary of The Washington Post company, where she led a top revenue producing team driving Healthcare, Consumer Electronics and Retail sales.

Lainie has been an active Board Member for the National Capitol Area Chapter, Alzheimer’s Association since 2012. She holds a BS in Business and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University. Lainie lives in Chevy Chase, MD with her husband and two teenage boys.

Kevin is a Research Advisor for Parks Associates and also the MD of EAS Consulting, a boutique consultancy focused on the IoT and Smart home markets.
Meagher was formerly the SVP BD at ROC Connect and VP & GM of Lowe’s Smart Home initiative, Iris. At Lowe’s, one of the world’s largest home improvement retailers, he led the deployment of their smart home products and services through all their retail stores in the US. Kevin was also founder and CEO of Intamac Systems, a UK company offering a Cloud platform deploying smart home solutions to the mass consumer market.
Meagher has been recognized as a global pioneer and thought leader in the smart home and IoT. He has deployed smart home solutions with major service providers, utilities, retailers, and security companies around the world. He has lectured on business management and published papers at national and international conferences. Additionally, he is the recipient of numerous awards including Ruban d’Honneur as European Entrepreneur of the Year, and his company won the European Best Business Innovation Award. He has 3 patents. He has also served as a Group Captain in the Royal Air Force.
