New IoT research from Parks Associates finds 46% of U.S. broadband households now own a connected health device, such as a digital pedometer, smart watch, or a digital weight scale. The research firm will host its fifth-annual Connected Health Summit: Engaging Consumers, August 28-30 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, to discuss the markets for independent living and consumer demand for connected health solutions.

“Eighty percent of U.S. broadband households report at least one health management challenge with which they would like help.
