Vivint offers customers the ability to control their security, energy management and smart home features from their mobile devices with an easy-to-use Vivint app. Vivint’s mobile app is supported by iPhone, BlackBerry and Google Android devices, and can be downloaded for no additional cost. Customers who do not have smartphones can access their home automation system from any device with an Internet connection. Customers simply login on the Vivint homepage to control their security, energy management and home automation features from down the street or across the globe.

In addition to offering remote access for home automation features, Vivint customers can also receive customized notifications from the app. Customers with smartphones can choose to receive notices via email and regular texts or push notifications, which are similar to text messages but come directly from the app and are free. Customers whose phones do not have Internet capabilities can receive text notifications.
