Vivint's new layer of intelligence enables customers to optimize their thermostat settings based on data reported over time. Through the new feature, the home’s previous daily activity patterns are provided to the user, who can use that information to make adjustments to their thermostat schedule to maximize efficiency.
Vivint's customers will now have better insight into how they are managing energy usage, which which will essentially give them more control. Vivint offers the option to customize the Smart Thermostat’s schedule to best match up with the daily activities of the home works in conjunction with other management features such as remote access and dual thermostat support. These options give consumers the ability to make their homes as energy-efficient as possible, which reduces the cost of monthly utility bills.
Vivint’s Smart Thermostat is part of the company’s Energy Management package, which includes: Go!Control Panel; Smart Thermostat; Appliance Control; Energy Efficient Lightbulbs; and Home Security.
