Recently, Verizon launched a new subscription-based gaming service for its network. The subscription service called GameTanium comes from digital-entertainment company Exent. GameTanium allows Verizon’s customers to pay $5.99 per month per device, and access over 100 Android smartphone games, and more than 50 tablet titles.

The games included within GameTanium are selected by Exent's editorial board. Each game comes with parental ratings and reviews, and Verizon has stated that the fee will safeguard users from advertisements.

GameTanium's apps can be downloaded from Verizon Apps and are available on over 30 smartphones, including the Droid RAZR and Droid Incredible 4G LTE, as well as two Android tablets.
