The UK government's plan is to place smart meters in millions of homes and small businesses by the year 2020. Sensus technology will support the rollout of electric and gas smart meters to ten million locations in Northern Great Britain.
With success in North America and Europe, Sensus confidently brings its FlexNet communications technology to this large scale project. Currently, the open standards-based communications network is in more than 16 million endpoints, including smart meters and other devices.
