Parks Associates today announced the agendas for three research workshops, focusing on cloud-based innovations, smart energy, and monetization strategies for mobile technologies. The research firm will host these workshops on June 28, prior to the start of CONNECTIONS™: The Digital Living Conference & Showcase.

CONNECTIONS™ will take place June 28-30 at the Santa Clara Convention Center and focuses on the impact of the cloud on consumer markets, including mobility and communications, entertainment and content, connected consumer electronics, and value-added services such as energy management and tech support services.

By 2015, there will be 90 million U.S. broadband households and 60 million households with a home network, up from 77 million and 42 million in 2010, respectively. Widespread broadband adoption is creating new markets for advanced entertainment, energy management, and mobile content platforms and solutions.

“Parks Associates has identified cloud-based services, energy, and mobile as key areas of growth and opportunity in the digital living ecosystem," said Tricia Parks, CEO, Parks Associates. “Our workshops will provide in-depth knowledge of these markets, and attendees will have access to Parks Associates’ analysts and presentation materials in an ideal networking setting.”

Parks Associates will host these three workshops prior to the opening keynote for CONNECTIONS™.
