Recently, Midcontinent joined the Comporium Security, Monitoring and Automation (SMA) dealer program. This service combines security alarm systems, communications gateways, and home automation platforms to give consumers total home management and remote control access to lighting, appliances, thermostats and enhanced video monitoring through smartphones, PCs, and tablets.
iControl is the cable industry’s top security systems company, with Comcast, Cox Communications, Time Warner Cable, Rogers Cable, Bright House Networks, Bell Aliant, Swisscom, and Comporium as customers.
Comporium currently has a reseller agreement in place with iControl, and has a client list that includes NewWave Communications and Mediacom.
