Microsoft and Time Warner Cable have announced a deal that will bring more than 300 live TV channels to the Xbox 360.

Time Warner Cable subscribers with an Xbox Live Gold membership will have access to shows right from their consoles and even have the ability to control the content using voice control via Kinect.  Microsoft says that the system will provide an easy switch from gameplay to live TV using voice commands.

The new TWC TV app for Xbox is expected to launch later this summer.  Users will have the ability to download the app right from Xbox Live marketplace, login with their Time Warner details, and start watching TV.

Although Xbox has more than 120 voice-controlled apps already available for Xbox 360, this deal with Time Warner Cable brings more live channels to the system than any other experience.
