Parks Associates Presents CONNECTIONS™ Europe Preview Thursday, Oct 20

Nearly 40% of Western European broadband households have a connected consumer electronics platform, and the average broadband household spent over €850 on CE products in 2010. Technology innovation and broadband access are changing the connected home landscape and increasing growth opportunities in multiple markets.

Research firm Parks Associates will present new European consumer research in the complimentary webcast “Digital Living in Europe” on Thursday, October 20, at 10 a.m. CT (16:00 BST). Brett Sappington, Director of Research, will discuss recent data from consumer surveys of the U.K., France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. Topics include broadband penetration; technology products in the home; consumer communication and entertainment services; digital media consumption and preferences; and mobile devices, services, and usage.

The webcast is a preview to CONNECTIONS™ Europe executive conference, which Parks Associates will host Nov 8-9 in Amsterdam. Service providers, content owners, and CE makers will meet to discuss new technologies and trends in the connected home, with keynotes from Siemens and Orange.
