Research firm Parks Associates and consulting firm Waterstone Management Group are hosting an invite-only research and networking session at CONNECTIONS™ at TIA that features discussion and analysis on the emerging business models for SMB (small and medium business) cloud services. The event, June 6 at 6:30 p.m., includes cocktails and networking with analysts and industry executives.

Parks Associates research shows there are roughly six million businesses in the U.S. with 1-99 employees but currently only 21% use offsite data backup and 16% have used remote technical support. The average SMB experiences nine tech support issues each month, costing 2-3 hours each in lost time and productivity.

Cloud-based technical services offer unique end-user propositions as value-added services. With the right market information, strategy, and execution, broadband providers and device manufacturers can create and expand new revenue streams with SMB offerings that combine their existing assets with new cloud-based solutions.

Parks Associates will present information defining the market, provide current and forecasted revenue growth, and show an overview of the fragmented market. Waterstone Management Group will augment that market view by presenting perspective and case studies to illustrate how service providers can monetize the cloud services opportunity.

What: "SMB Cloud Services: New Revenues & Opportunities," hosted by Parks Associates and Waterstone Management Group.

When: June 6, 6:30-8:00 P.M.

Where: Gaylord Texan Hotel & Convention Center
1501 Gaylord Trail, Grapevine, TX 76051
