GreenWave Reality and Leedarson Lighting announced that they will be collaborate to offer a family of CFL and LED intelligent bulbs and fixtures supporting GreenWave Reality’s innovative, connected lighting solution. This solution allows consumers to have unprecedented control over their lighting, enabling them to reduce costs and improve their lifestyle.
The innovative GreenWave Reality Connected Lighting Platform is a secure, standards-based solution providing consumers with applications that scale from the entry-level remote control up to advanced integration with motion sensors and smartphones. Leedarson has developed and will produce a wide-range of high-quality, intelligent CFL, LED lamps and fixtures applicable for multiple market segments. The combined solution is based on NXP Semiconductor’s GreenChip(tm) smart lighting technology, an IP-based JenNet-IP networking software, that transforms energy-efficient light bulbs into intelligent, controllable devices making them part of the global Internet of Things.
By partnering with Leedarson Lighting the GreenWave Reality solution will support a wide-range of energy-efficient, intelligent Leedarson CFL and LED bulbs including true replacement lamps for the following form factors: A60, R63, MR16, downlight, LED tubes and panels. Leedarson Lighting will offer these high-quality, cost-effective lamps and will be offering them to multiple bulb brands for wider distribution, including a line of GreenWave Reality branded bulbs. The GreenWave Reality connected lighting products and Leedarson intelligent lamps and fixtures will start shipping in the first quarter of 2012, with initial availability in Europe followed by Asia and North America.
