We're excited to announce that Informa Telecoms & Media's second flagship event in its 7 part global series, the MVNOs Industry Summit USA returns to Dallas on the 21 & 22 November 2013.

The only MVNO event in North America, the essential two day learning and networking occasion, brings together 200+ senior representatives from new and established MVNOs from the North American – as well as global market – with carriers, resellers, MVNE, MVNAs, and their BSS/OSS partners.

Some of the prestigious speakers shared their views ahead of the conference on the growing US market, the innovative business models, BYOD strategies, and their opinion about how MVNOs can take advantage on this competitive market:

Ryan Wuerch, the founder and CEO of Solavei: "To survive in the highly competitive MVNO market, you must create a unique value to attract and retain customers. With consumers tiring of the traditional mobile service offerings, we see more and more people moving toward options that offer high quality service, yet provide freedom of choice with exceptional value."

Jean Gottschalk, President, Telecom North America: "As in any market that matures, price is no longer the main differentiator for MVNOs. Most MVNOs in the US today have similar costs, and therefore, very similar service prices. The unlimited voice, test and data plan becomes the new norm, with a small margin that can only be sustainable in high volumes."

Hartie Chang, Business Development Manager, CHT Global: "...the majority of today’s MVNOs are actually M2M services, you wouldn’t realize it, but there are a lot more MVNOs than we typically hear about. And for what we traditionally think of as MVNOs, today’s MVNOs aim to meet a different market demand, where there is a shift in consumer preferences..."

Steven van Wel, Co-Founder & CEO, Karma: "Easy access to data is becoming increasingly important all over the world. Today MVNOs have the opportunity to reinvent how people get online. That’s what matters. A strong focus on software and innovative business models will strengthen the MVNO footprint, worldwide."

Scott Allan, Director of Ting: "In order for an MVNO to be successful, they must (perhaps obviously) have a clear distinct value proposition, and a healthy relationship with a Network Operator who supports them."
