EnerNOC, a leading provider of energy intelligence software, announced today that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued the Company its third patent. Patent No. 8,457,803, entitled "Apparatus and Method for Demand Coordination Network," focuses on the technology, tools, and processes the Company uses to dynamically and reliably deploy demand response resources where and when they are needed.

EnerNOC now holds five patents globally for its technology, including two patents in Australia.

EnerNOC is currently on the board of the OpenADR Alliance and supports standards including OpenADR 2.0, ZigBee Smart Energy, and XMPP.
