EnergyHub, recently announced that the latest version of its demand response management system (DRMS), Mercury 2.2, will give their utility customers more control over their load shed performance with powerful new load forecasting, load shed optimization, and asset targeting features. Currently, over 900,000 people use EnergyHub’s platform to control their largest loads.
Utilities with Mercury DRMS have the power to realize the benefits of modern demand response technology. Mercury 2.2 uses a combination of thermodynamic profiling and load isaggregation, calculated from data points each month. As a result, the DRMS will provide an exact forecast of the expected power demand for connected assets. Utilities will be able to see the projected impact of calling a load-control event in real time, as well as complete the desired load shed impact.
Mercury DRMS also gives utilities the ability to pinpoint demand response assets across their distribution networks. Utilities will be able to call demand response for load on a specific feeder or substation, or even visually target load response areas from a digital map.
