Parks Associates will host CONNECTIONS™ Summit in the South Hall Convention Center, Rooms S204-S205, during the first day of CES. The sessions feature groundbreaking research on connected devices and smart TVs, digital content, value-added services, and strategies for monetizing it all. Parks Associates forecasts worldwide revenues from operator-provided cloud-based value-added services will exceed $8.5 billion by 2015.
The successes of connected CE and mobile devices announced at the last two CES events have pushed Parks Associates into a new phase of connected CE diffusion – the rise of entertainment, communications, and lifestyle services attached to these products. Nearly 20% of U.S. broadband households are using connected CE devices to watch movies at least weekly.
