Asoka Corporation has launched a new website that emphasizes the company’s unique direction in working with service providers to deliver new and innovative add-on home management and control services to its PLC-based high speed data and entertainment solutions.
Asoka’s PlugLink® and PlugLine® families of PLC products are optimized to deliver high performance networking at speeds of 85 Mbps, 200 Mbps and 500Mbps. They provide an ideal platform for carrier-delivered home networking and entertainment services because provisioning is as easy as plugging the Asoka PLC adapters into wall sockets and connecting via Ethernet or wireless to computers, TVs and gaming consoles. Asoka has been adding intelligence to these network adapters and developing cloud-based management software to broaden its scope of carrier-deployed services.
The new website features expanded customer resources for PLC technology and the company’s next-generation carrier-deployed home area network data, VoIP, HD and IP TV, streaming video and audio and online gaming solutions and services. There’s also information about the company’s recently launched solar data connectivity, and solutions for energy management, home monitoring, thermostat control, parental controls and eHealth are in development.
