Accedo and FOXTEL have launched their first connected TV application in Australia by designing and developing the FOXTEL on Internet TV application for Samsung's Smart TV platform.
The application allows users to enjoy FOXTEL, without the need for installation, a lock-in contract or a FOXTEL set-top-box. With a compatible Samsung Smart TV and high-speed Internet connection, viewers can now stream FOXTEL content directly to their Samsung Smart TV.
FOXTEL on Internet TV offers access to 30 live FOXTEL channels, including FOX8, Discovery Channel, ESPN, UKTV and Showtime, as well as FOXTEL's 8 live Olympic channels and the latest results from the London 2012 Olympic Games.
FOXTEL on Internet TV is now available on Samsung Smart TVs (2011 – 2012 models), with varying packages available.
