Parks Associates Adds Home Controls/Energy Veteran to Research Team

Parks Associates, a leading research firm in the consumer energy market space, is pleased to announce that Tom Kerber will lead the company's Home Systems and Energy Management research practice. Kerber brings to Parks Associates a wealth of strategic planning and product management knowledge derived from his experience in the automation, controls, electronics, and HVAC industries. He comes to Parks Associates from Lennox International, where he served as Director of Engineering and Director of Product Management. Prior to Lennox, Kerber spent several years at Motorola developing products for the electronics Industry.

As Director of Research for Home Systems and Energy, Kerber will lead the production of Parks Associates' industry reports covering IP-based home services, including energy management, lighting controls, and security/monitoring services. In addition, he will direct the company's custom home systems-based research and consulting engagements.

Kerber will co-moderate the session "Consumer Demand for Energy as a Service" at CONNECTIONS(TM) Summit at CES on January 10, 2012, in Las Vegas. He will also be key speaker and moderator at Parks Associates' conference Smart Energy Summit, February 28 - March 1, 2012, in Austin, Texas.
