New European Consumer Research on Connected CE Spending, Cloud Service Preferences at CONNECTIONS Europe

Parks Associates announced the 6th annual CONNECTIONS Europe: Cloud Services, CE & Service Provider Strategies will be held November 8-9 at the Movenpick in Amsterdam.

"The average broadband household in Western Europe spent over EUR850 on CE products in 2010, and with 30-40% now owning a connected device, the window is open for a variety of new cloud, entertainment, and connectivity solutions," said Brett Sappington, Sr. Analyst, Parks Associates. "Future purchase intentions for connected TVs, tablets, and smartphones are strong in multiple countries, and we will see a steady rise in demand for video services on these platforms. CONNECTIONS(TM) Europe will focus on the opportunities in developing and bundling a variety of new value-added services to align with the needs and wants of the new broadband households in Europe."

CONNECTIONS Europe host Parks Associates will present new consumer data covering the major countries in Western Europe, including the U.K., France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.
