Stay Secure or Spy on the Dog: Xfinity Home Adds 24/7 Video Recording

According to Parks Associates, security cameras are the most popular smart home devices, and more than 40 percent of people who own one access the devices daily or almost daily through an app.

So Xfinity Home customers obsessed with watching what the dog is up to are probably going to be happy to hear that Comcast has unveiled 24/7 video recording today. Oh, and the security benefits of the add-on will probably please them as well. It's a cloud- and motion-based video monitoring solution, and the operator reports that it is the nation’s largest residential home security provider to offer a continuous video recording service.
