iPhone Remains Top Choice of US Smartphone Owners: Report

Apple’s iPhone accounted for 40% of all smartphones in use in the US, according to the latest 360 View, Mobility & the App Economy research released by Parks Associates.

Following up on comScore’s fourth-quarter market report, the Parks report also highlights that while iPhone is still the main choice of smartphone owners in the US, Samsung is catching up and now controls 31% of the smartphone market. The third major player, LG, accounted for only 10% of the market.
