Apple leads hardware market for streaming video

Even though millions of people have game consoles like the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, people are streaming less video on game consoles, and more on streaming media players, according to new research from Parks Associates, a Dallas-based market research firm. According to the study, 70.6 percent of Google Chromecast buyers were male, 64.2 percent of those who bought Amazon Fire TV were men and 60.6 percent of Roku buyers were male.
