Parks predicts nearly 40M IPTV subs this year

Market research firm Parks Associates has a new white paper, "IPTV and the digital home," that suggests total subscribers worldwide to IPTV and telco TV services will number close to 40 million by the end of 2009. The firm says that more network operators are starting to recognize the value of the full digital home approach, rather than just having a "killer app mentality" about IPTV.
