Comcast Xfinity Home And Amazon Talk IoT Strategy At CONNECTIONS Conference

Parks Associates held their CONNECTIONS conference this week with sessions and keynotes that examined the innovations, business models, and trends around the connected (or smart) home market. Among the highlights: two first-day keynote sessions from Daniel Herscovici, Senior Vice President and GM at Comcast Xfinity Home and David Isbitski, Chief Evangelist for Alexa and Echo at Amazon.

“Today’s average U.S. broadband household owns over eight connected CE devices, an increase from less than seven in 2013,” Stuart Sikes, President of Parks Associates, said in a statement. “CONNECTIONS attendees gained enormous insight today from Amazon and Comcast about how companies are capturing market share by embracing the next phase of the connected home.”
