US consumers show high demand for connected car features

Over 40 million US vehicles are connected to the internet as of end-2015 and the number will steadily increase through 2016, according to Parks Associates. The market researcher found that 64 percent of car owners in US broadband homes would like built-in support for at least one connected activity in their next car. This compares to 44 percent having some kind of advanced connected car feature in their car at present.
