Majority Of Smartwatch Owners Have Paid Music Streaming Sub

Owners of wearable devices such as smartwatches and fitness trackers are far more likely to subscribe to paid streaming audio or music services such as Apple Music, Spotify or Pandora One, according to a report from Parks Associates. In fact, some 60 percent of smartwatch owners and 48 percent of fitness tracker owners in the US currently subscribe to streaming music services, while 69 percent of non-owners have no subscription at all. Among all US broadband households, 33 percent have a paid streaming music subscription, up from 26 percent in mid-2015.
