In this role, Jennifer coordinates partnerships and outreach with the state and local governments, community groups, and other entities with a vested interest on NTIA’s high-speed internet grant programs and policy issues. Jennifer works directly with the Texas Broadband Development Office and the state-level regional, county and municipal associations to ensure comprehensive engagement from all stakeholders in the state on the State’s high-speed internet planning and funding process. Jennifer started her career at the Texas State Capitol in 2005 holding a wide range of jobs in the public sector. Her professional experience includes legislative, public policy, communications, and government affairs work with the Texas Legislature, and policy and communications work for the Florida Department of Education, along with a variety of roles on local and statewide political campaigns. Following her work at the Texas State Capitol and the Florida Department of Education, Jennifer served for three years as the State Program Director for Texas for Connected Nation, a national non-profit organization which has focused on tackling the digital divide for more than 20 years. Appointed in January 2020, Jennifer served as an inaugural member of the Governor’s Broadband Development Council. Governor Abbott re-appointed her to the Council in March 2022 and named her Vice Chair of the Council, a position which she held until joining NTIA. Stefan Witkamp is the co-founder and commercial director of Homey by Athom B.V, the company he founded in 2014. As commercial director of Homey, Stefan is responsible for operations, sales, partnerships and public relations. Stefan has been a tech, retail and business enthusiast since his youth, with a broad range of experience in non-profit boards, representation and commerce prior to founding Homey. He loves the combination of tech and commerce, and is focused on making great products reach as many people as possible. Stefan has been entrepreneurial since high school and holds a BSc in Creative Technology from the University of Twente in The Netherlands.

<p> Terry Anderton is the Founder and CEO of Wagz® Inc. and a lifelong dog owner with a long history of building disruptive and forward-thinking technology companies.</p> <p> He founded Wagz after attending a Fourth of July party in which his newly rescued puppy, Abby, ran away after being scared off by fireworks. Luckily, Abby was found safe five days later. However, after the worry and fear Anderton and his family felt, he decided to create a better way for pet parents to keep their dogs safe while giving them peace of mind.</p> <p> Before Wagz, Anderton was involved in the creation and worldwide growth of the game of Paintball. Anderton led global sales at Cabletron Systems and McAfee before co-founding NitroSecurity, a network security developer, in 2004. Anderton served as President &amp; CEO of NitroSecurity raising over $40M of venture funding before being acquired by Intel in 2011. He went on to create Trunity, a cloud-based textbook and learning platform company, raising over $15M in venture funding and eventually taking it public in 2012. Anderton also founded the social commerce platform, Gemr in 2013, raising $5.43M before its sale to a private equity firm.</p> <p> Anderton is completing his Master of Business Administration from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and has a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior from Daniel Webster College. Tom Breare is Senior Partnerships Manager at Octopus Energy U.S. With seven years in the energy sector, Tom leads Octopus Energy’s connected device partnerships and flexibility products for customers in the US. Tom was an early employee of Octopus Energy in 2016, and moved from the United Kingdom to Texas in 2022.

<p> Tom Doyle brings over 30 years of experience in operational excellence and executive leadership in analog and mixed-signal semiconductor technology to Aspinity. Prior to Aspinity, Tom was group director of Cadence Design Systems’ analog and mixed-signal IC business unit, where he managed the deployment of the company’s technology to the world’s foremost semiconductor companies. Previously, Mr. Doyle was founder and president of the analog/mixed-signal software firm, Paragon IC solutions, where he was responsible for all operational facets of the company including sales and marketing, global partners/distributors, and engineering teams in the US and Asia. Tony Nicolaidis: Chief Commercial Officer at Origin AI Tony Nicolaidis is the Chief Commercial Officer at Origin AI, a role he assumed in January 2023 after serving as the Chief Revenue Officer since August 2022. Known for his dynamic approach in the B2B sector, Tony excels in strategic planning, scaling sales and customer success teams, and aligning marketing strategies with revenue goals. Warren Hill has spent 15 years in the security industry with experience in Marketing, Product and Program Management. He is currently the VP of Marketing and Partner Development for Alula. Prior to joining Alula he spent time with GE Security and Interlogix. He enjoys hiking, biking, golfing and a number of other outdoor activities.
