There are 30 percent more computing devices, as well as 45 percent more connected devices, on average in U.S. broadband households with Wi-Fi access as compared to those without it, according to new market research from Parks Associates. Parks found 71 percent of broadband households with Wi-Fi or Apple AirPort networks.
“[T}he convenience of this access technology encourages households to acquire more connected products,” pointed out Parks’ senior research director Brett Sappington in a news release about the new “360 View: Entertainment Services in U.S. Broadband Households” report.
