Charlie Kindel has extensive and proven connected home experience, with a focus on creating world-class consumer and developer products, platform technologies, and partner ecosystems. Previously, Charlie spent five years at Amazon, where he created, led, and grew the Alexa Smart Home division. For over 20 years Charlie has led the connected home industry with innovative product development and thought-leadership, frequently presenting at events and trade shows including CES, CONNECTIONS, SXSW, CEDIA, AWS re:Invent, and the Smart Kitchen Summit. Prior to Amazon, Charlie founded two tech startups in the Seattle area and from 1990 to 2011 he helped create some of Microsoft's most loved consumer and developer products. He drove the creation of the application and game ecosystem for Windows Phone 7, as well as Premier Support, Internet Explorer, COM/ActiveX, Windows NT, Windows home networking, Windows Media Center, and Windows Home Server.

Thomas Rockmann is Vice President Consumer IoT and Co-Lead of the Group-wide smart home project. Thomas is responsible for all aspects of the Consumer IoT and Connected Home business. He has been instrumental in growing the business and delivering the Telekom smart home solution with international key partners across Europe. Thomas held various senior leadership roles within Deutsche Telekom Group. He served as Vice President of Business Portfolio Strategy T-Home where he built up an integrated product portfolio for the business. Before that, Thomas managed product innovation projects for consumer, business and wholesale customers as Vice President for the market leadership team. He was also in charge of the consumer segment strategy, planning and group IP migration program for all consumer and business customers in Germany. He built up the new category smart home for the German market, based on the open platform Qivicon. Prior to Deutsche Telekom, Thomas spent three years at Deutsche Bank AG in various IT development and quality management roles. Thomas holds a diploma in Geophysics from Münster University. He is an entrepreneurial leader with 20 years of experience in innovation, product development, strategy and new business development. Thomas has a deep understanding of the development of customer centric technology-enabled services to scale the business.
