This webcast highlights the IoT value propositions and best practices product companies should utilize to deliver more engaged consumers and open new service opportunities.

The IoT is changing the way in which device and appliances manufacturers interact with consumers.

Previously, product manufacturers may have had little interaction with the end users, limited to mailed-in product registration cards or customer service calls. When product companies incorporate IoT connectivity into their products, a new frontier of customer engagement is suddenly possible. In addition to the wealth of rich data available about customers and product usage, there are a range of new customer engagement opportunities, from service, to marketing, to sales.

Through 2020, more than 442 million connected devices will be sold in the U.S. These products can offer new value propositions and redefine the relationship with the end users, offering convenience, time and energy savings, security, and peace of mind.

With value-added services for IoT connected products, connected device manufacturers strengthen relationships with their customers and create new opportunities for recurring revenue.
