Telehealth consultations are anticipated to become a larger part of everyday health care, according to Parks Associates, a market research company with a focus in emerging consumer technology products and services.

Parks Associates anticipates that doctor video consultations will nearly triple from 5.7 million in 2014 to more than 16 million in 2015.

New Infographic Explores Siri's Impact on iPhone Users

Marketed as a digital assistant, Siri purports to help with a variety of tasks, including playing music, finding sports scores or creating secure passwords. However, according to a Parks Associates study, iPhone 4S owners typically use Siri for much simpler tasks, such as making phone calls, searching the Web and sending text messages.

Hackers find new target in Android

"People never thought about virus infection on smartphones, and they're going to regret it," said Harry Wang, director of mobile research at Parks Associates, a technology research firm in Dallas. "They are pretty much a computer in your pocket," and therefore just as tempting to data thieves as a desktop PC.
