OTT Video News, Deals, Launches and Products

Some 63% of US broadband households now subscribe to an OTT video service, rising from 57% at the beginning of this year, according to Parks Associates. Parks also updated its rankings for the top OTT video services in the US, which is as follows: Netflix, Amazon Video, Hulu, MLB.TV, WWE Network, Sling TV, HBO Now, Crunchyroll, Showtime and CBS All Access. One standout surprise is that the WWE Network ranks in fifth place, boasting 1.5 million paying subscribers, up from 1.2 million, last year.
