Facebook users could soon send, receive money using Messenger app

Despite being begrudgingly adopted — it is no longer possible to use the standalone Facebook smartphone app to send a message to another user — Facebook Messenger is currently the most widely used messaging app in the US. According to Parks Associates, 53 per cent of smartphone owners currently use it. And adding a mobile payments feature to the app could make it more popular still.

Internet of Things adoption driven by security concerns

According to a new report from Parks Associates based on a study of 10,000 US homes with a broadband internet connection, it's security and peace of mind that is driving initial interest in America.
