This webcast examines the new era of IPTV services and how operators can compete across managed set-top-boxes (Linux, Android TV, ASOP) and unmanaged bring-your-own devices (Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku, mobile and web).

Co-hosted by TiVo and Parks Associates

In the IPTV world, the user experience essentially defines the video service for subscribers, making the UX a critical element in any successful video service. Operators face ongoing innovation from both traditional competition and new emerging players, not only in the managed set-top box (Linux, Android TV, ASOP) but also in new, unmanaged bring-your-own devices (e.g. Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, mobile and web). Thus, the dilemma. How can operators get out in front of user experience trends in order to effectively compete in the new era of IPTV services?

In this webcast, you will learn about the top five considerations for IPTV providers in the new world of Android TV set-top boxes, streaming media players, and the impact of user experience trends including personalization and voice interaction. Presenters will analyze issues in implementation and opportunities to better compete in a dynamic marketplace. They also present the role of compelling user experiences, and dynamic services powering such experiences, in reducing churn and driving future revenue.
