Parks Associates’ Fall Focus Seminar to address
Multimedia Applications
Targeted events provide attendees with in-depth information and latest

Parks Associates has announced
the 2003 schedule for its new executive seminar series Fall Focus (www.fallfocus.com).
The market research and consulting company will host a fourth-quarter
event, which will address digital entertainment in the home.
The Home Multimedia Experience will be held November 5-6 in San
Jose, CA. This targeted, interactive event (with an optional half-day
workshop) will bring together leading industry participants and observers to
debate and analyze the success-based formulas necessary to move this market forward. Attendees at each event will also receive a special
research report, written by Parks Associates with consumer and industry data
targeted to the event’s topic.
“The potential for digital multimedia at home is immense,” said Tricia Parks, president of

such issues as what will be the successful business models, what
applications will be used by consumers, and what the overall demand is from

The Home Multimedia Experience will examine the opportunities and

proposition for multimedia-centric applications that can compete with “free”
services while maintaining the integrity of the content. This seminar will
address consumer demand for these services, the “price pain threshold,” the
likely platforms to deliver this content and services, and the industries in
the best position to benefit from this digital evolution in the home.
