CONNECTIONS™ brings insight on the connected home to the 2004 International CES
CONNECTIONS™ announced today that it
will host five sessions and a half-day workshop (in conjunction with
Global Inventures' half-day workshop) as part of the Partner Program at
the 2004 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), January 8-11 in
Las Vegas. CONNECTIONS™: The Digital Home Conference and
Showcase,
produced by Parks Associates in partnership with CEA, will host these
events, focusing on insight, analysis, and market sizing for
next-generation broadband and home networking services
CONNECTIONS™ will host a half-day workshop on Jan. 7 and also will
offer a special package discount for those who attend both the afternoon
CONNECTIONS™ workshop and the morning i2i™ workshop by Global
Inventures. A luncheon with a special keynote speaker will be provided to
attendees of both half-day workshops. Registration is also available for
the lunch alone.
"CES presents an excellent venue for learning market information.
The players are all there. By hosting workshops the day before the event
starts, we can optimize attendees' time and travel dollars," said
Tricia Parks, president of Parks Associates. "There's much to
understand beyond the products themselves. Parks Associates forecasts that
annual sales of connected multimedia products - including specialized
consumer electronics platforms and PC-centric adapters and receivers -
will more than triple between 2003 and 2008. Many will compete, but only
some will succeed."
During CES, CONNECTIONS™ will host a track consisting of five
sessions. Parks Associates' analysts will provide the foundation for the
three interactive sessions by offering two sessions comprised of data
presentation only. This knowledge will allow individuals to better
understand the panel sessions.
